Glasgow two-piece Honeyblood have announced the release of their debut album, following on from their limited edition 7-inch Bud last year. Recorded with producer Peter Katis (The National, Interpol) at his home Tarquin Studios, Connecticut, in ten days last November, Honeyblood is a staggeringly accomplished and delightfully fierce debut record. “Peter was the perfect match for us,” singer/guitarist Stina Tweeddale said of the recording. “He perfectly managed to capture our live performance in the studio. These songs represent good times for us.”

The band will be hitting North American shores this month for a full US tour, including appearances at SXSW. Watch this space for their full schedule.
