High Vis share new single “Guided Tour”
UK band High Vis has shared the title track and final single “Guided Tour” ahead of the release of their new album, out October 18th via Dais Records. The track follows previously released singles “Drop Me Out,” “Mob DLA,” and “Mind’s a Lie,” the last of which features samples of vocals from South London singer and DJ Ell Murphy. Guided Tour will also be available on cassette via Flatspot Records, which is available for pre-order HERE.
High Vis are currently on their CORPUS GROWS tour across North America with Show Me The Body, alongside additional support from BIB, Special Interest, ZelooperZ, Bearcat, and Black Noi$e on select dates. High Vis and Show Me The Body shared their collaborative track “Stomach.” Following the North American run, High Vis will traverse Europe for their headline tour slated for this November and December with support from Pain of Truth ahead of their forthcoming UK shows in February 2025 with support from Narrow Head.
Guided Tour was recorded across a few weeks at Holy Mountain Studios in London with producer Jonah Falco (Fucked Up) and engineer Stanley Gravett (who also helmed the sessions for High Vis’ Blending).
In 2019, High Vis released their debut album No Sense No Feeling, which broadened the scope of the hardcore veterans beyond scene while creating self-described “post-industrial-Britain misery punk.” The follow up, 2022’s Blending includes the tracks “Talk For Hours” and “Trauma Bonds” and not only expands upon the sonic breadth of High Vis, but vocalist Sayle opened his chest cavity through his lyrics discussing social issues and political miseries while reaching a hand out to folks listening to give a message of hope.
