“Hammock” by EZTV

Brooklyn-based indie rock trio EZTV have premiered a new video for “Hammock” off their 2016 full-length High In Place. The band will return to their hometown stage on April 28 at Brooklyn Bazaar and on May 22 at Baby’s All Right.

EZTV worked with James Sharp to shoot the video, and under unexpected circumstances:
“At our London gig at the Lexington, the charming James R. Sharp told us, ‘If you ever find yourselves in the UK again, I’d love to make a video for you.’ Little did he know!” The band was touring in support of Merchandise, whose lead singer broke his jaw soon after James had extended his invitation to collaborate.

“On the morning of November 8, feeling secure in the knowledge that our absentee ballots had been cast for Hillary Clinton and with no plans, we jokingly asked James if he wanted to shoot that video…to our surprise, he said, ‘Absolutely, I’ll pick you up in an hour!'” James and the band drove to the Southern Coast of England and spent an afternoon in Brighton, exploring the town, feasting on fish & chips and developing the delightful video unveiled today.

“We’ve taken to calling this ‘The Last Good Day.’ a bright and joyful memory before the nightmare of our current Big Baby president became a foul reality.”

Tour Dates:
April 28 | Brooklyn, NY – Brooklyn Bazaar
May 22 | Brooklyn, NY – Baby’s All Right
June 24 | Brooklyn, NY – Union Pool
