“Flies” By Cheekface

Cheekface have returned with new song/video “Flies,” with the help of Jeff Rosenstock on baritone sax “This song is about living the dream in a room full of flies,” vocalist/guitarist Greg Katz explains of the track’s inspiration. “Me and [bassist Amanda] Mandy [Tannen] wrote this song in our practice space a few months ago, but the title lyric was literally written in a room full of flies. Unfortunately, the lyric about not being able to do a kickflip is also literally true.” This year the band released their 4th LP, It’s Sorted, in January and toured North America.

A video for “Flies” is out today and marks their second time working with director team Baby Ponyfood, who also made Cheekface’s video for “Life In A Bag” earlier this year.
