Eliza Shaddad ‘Run’ EP Drops Friday March 18
Born to Sudanese and Scottish parents with deep artistic heritage, Eliza Shaddad draws from a rich wealth of creative resource. A descendent of a long line of artists and poets dating back to the 1800’s, Eliza’s great great grandfather was James Paterson, one of the Glasgow Boys – a group of artists challenging the style and subject of late Victorian Scottish painting.
Run EP being released on Friday has already received critical acclaim across the board from the likes of FADER, Nylon, Stereogum, The Line of Best Fit, The Independent, Clash, The 405, Radio 1, Radio X and Beats 1 among many others.
With Mercury Music Prize nominated Chris Bond’s on production, Catherine Marks (Wolf Alice/Foals) on mixing duties and John Davis (Blur/FKA Twigs/Royal Blood) on mastering the EP is subject to a huge breadth of talent.
Eliza will play a string of 19 dates across the UK and Europe with a headline London show on the 31st of March at The Sebright Arms which is now sold out.
Run EP will be released on the 18th of March via Beatnik Creative.
