“Comme Ça” South Of France
South Of France has released the new single “Comme Ça,” the track will be featured in one of the opening scenes of the upcoming BoJack Horseman Season 6 Premiere, and is the lead-single from South Of France’s forthcoming sophomore LP, Remember That Cool Thing We Did, due out early 2020.
“Comme Ça” is french for “so-so” or “just ok,” and the song is about the blasé life of mediocrity that most of us live no matter how hard we try to portray otherwise. It was mixed by Shane Stoneback (Vampire Weekend, Cults, Sleigh Bells) alongside multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer Jeff Cormack (aka South Of France).
South Of France, Cormack creates guitar-driven indie-pop that is centered around his intertwining vocals and layers of reverb-soaked harmonies. The project began in 2012, inspired by his love for retro guitar-pop. South Of France has toured with, TV On the Radio, Two Door Cinema Club, The Flaming Lips, Divine Fits, Tennis, Matt and Kim, Jimmy Eat World, Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros, Real Estate, and more.
