Bon Iver Shares Lyric Video For “PDLIF”
Bon Iver’s new single “PDLIF” has been raising funds for Direct Relief, an international medical aid organization delivering protective equipment and essential resources to as many health workers as possible, as quickly as possible, as emergencies multiply in the sustained response to COVID-19. The band will continue to donate 100% of “PDLIF” proceeds to the charitable provider, and today they extend the efforts with the release of a new lyric video, and the launch of a consciously-sourced tee shirt and bumper sticker bundle.
With the creation of a $27 million fund, Direct Relief has made the largest-ever philanthropic commitment to primary care safety net facilities in the United States. Since January, they have delivered more than 4.3 million N95 and surgical masks, 2.8 million gloves, 105,000 gowns and coveralls, 640 oxygen concentrators and ventilators, 3,100 face shields, and 40.1 million doses of medications to health care facilities across all 50 states and 62 countries. They are also producing data products to inform policies and decision making, and to guide stay-at-home orders and reopening plans.
