We caught up with Jonathan Bates of Big Black Delta before his show at the Biltmore Cabaret. Jonathan was a fount of musical knowledge and history and spoke about early highschool favorites Van Halen, mentioned a few metal and prog band (Dream Theatre anyone?) and then spoke at length about his love of Harry Nilsson and Roy Orbison. It was a great interview and when the official shooting was completed we were graciously treated to a few glasses of Irish Whiskey backstage, where we continued to exchange stories. Filmed while he was on tour in support of the second Big Black Delta release “Trágame Tierra”
