Baroness released Purple, the band’s fourth album and the collection that now boasts the Grammy-nominated song “Shock Me,” in December of 2015 via their own label, Abraxan Hymns. Produced by Dave Fridmann (The Flaming Lips, Mercury Rev).

The band is in the midst of an Australian tour, playing tonight at The Triffid in Brisbane. John Baizley was also recently confirmed as the curator of Roadburn Festival 2017.
