Astrocolor today released “Time Internal,” the second single from their forthcoming album, Stargazing – AstroJazz Vol. 2, due out November 1st via Amelia Recordings.

The Psychedelic jazz band’s track “Time Internal” started with a hypnotic foundation of drums, bass guitar, and piano inviting response. Saxophone, bouzouki, synth, and percussion reply in turn, all leaving a simultaneously lush yet spacious landscape that allows constant reconsideration. “The song poses a question that is always answered with more questions”, the band says of the track. “Like a tarot card describing the fleeting glimpse of something utterly foreign or the tingling sensation of an unexpected flirtation.”

Following their 2023 debut Moonlighting – AstroJazz Vol. 1, which explored the depths of outer space, the new album shifts perspective. Stargazing – AstroJazz Vol. 2 finds the band grounded, contemplating both the cosmos above and the inner world within.

Born from 12 hours of improvisational recording sessions, Stargazing – AstroJazz Vol. 2 is a mesmerizing journey through experimental jazz and instrumental psychedelia. The result is a uniquely introspective soundtrack that opens the doors of perception one layer at a time. The upcoming album is a deeply personal collection for Astrocolor, featuring tracks that demanded meticulous attention to detail to fully realize their vision. The album invites listeners to experience moments of reflection and introspection, exploring the places where beauty and discomfort coexist, where the inner self meets the outer world, and the full spectrum of human emotion is allowed to flow.
