Following the February release of the self-titled eighth album from the band, Dirty Projectors today release the ‘Cool Your Heart’ (Remixes) EP. The EP includes remixes of ‘Cool Your Heart’ from Jamaican dancehall producers Equiknoxx, Mixpak label boss Dre Skull, London grime producer Tarquin, longtime Childish Gambino producer, and TV and film composer Ludwig Goransson, and DJ Dad.

The original track, ‘Cool Your Heart’, was co-written by David Longstreth and Solange Knowles, during breaks from sessions for Solange’s album A Seat At The Table. A duet between Longstreth and psychedelic R&B visionary Dawn Richard, the track is an anthem against co-dependency.
