Frankie Rose’s forthcoming LP, Hila, “is a record about loss. What persists beyond the range of ordinary perception? The place mourning keeps returning to — not quite transcendence, not quite doubt. The edge of what we can see.” Rose has spent fifteen years creating music in the world of indie with various projects, including Crystal Stilts, Dum Dum Girls, Vivian Girls, Beverly and more. Today, Rose is giving fans a taste off the upcoming LP, with the song/video “Manifest.” Hila drops on September 18 via Night School and Born Losers Records.

Hila was Self-produced at her home studio featuring collaborations with drummer Justin Welch (Elastica/Lush), the LP was recorded following extensive touring with The Jesus & Mary Chain and Swervedriver. Rose released her her seventh solo album Love as Projection in 2023.
