Wild Pink will release their new album Still Coming Down on August 21st on Fire Talk. Along with the announcement, the group is sharing “Round Of Applause At The End Of The World.” The LP is the follow up to their 2024 LP Dulling The Horns, the bands first album on Fire Talk.

The band’s new LP was recorded in Asheville, NC at the renowned Drop of Sunstudios with producer and engineer Alex Farrar (Bnny, Wednesday, Samia), The album features contributions from Meg Duffy (Hand Habits), and Wild Pink’s recent tour mates MJ Lenderman and Lenderman’s The Wind bandmates Landon George and Xandy Chelmis.

John Ross says of “Round Of Applause At The End Of The World:” “I don’t know what my idea of fun is anymore,” Ross calls, wry and weary, as distorted guitars respond resolutely. The song ends abruptly, like a person you can’t convince otherwise. Its visual accompaniment is the first of four chapters helmed by Wes Sterrs, which together form a collection of vignettes that complete and complexify Still Coming Down’s distinct world.
