Radio Trapani & Anton Sconosciuto have officially dropped the Extended Edition of their debut EP “think twice it’s not alright“. Originally released on May 9, 2025, the project now expands into a multi-layered soundscape that blends electro-folk textures, bilingual lyrics, and raw studio fragments, and it’s available digitally as of July 11.

The two artists, based between Amsterdam and Rome, first started working together in the summer of 2023. Both Italians who have spent most of their lives abroad, their music is naturally bilingual, shifting between English and Italian not for effect, but out of habit and musical intuition. The lyrics weave reflections on pollution, inflation, fleeting relationships and melancholy summer days, all filtered through a deeply personal lens and a sharp ear for sound design.

The Extended Edition of their debut EP “think twice it’s not alright” adds a treasure trove of unreleased material to the original four-tracks, including ambient sketches, punk-inspired detours, and a nine-minute improvised jam that captures the duo’s playful studio energy. There’s even a fragment where they sing “trallallà” over an incomplete beat, with Anton’s spontaneous comments picked up by the drum mic, a charming glitch in an otherwise thoughtful experiment.

If you like music that sits somewhere between Gorillaz, Dirty Projectors, and bedroom pop cassette culture, this is a release worth diving into.

The full digital release is out now on all platforms.

Limited edition cassette (A-side + bonus B-side) available via jipo.bandcamp.com.
