“1983” Hawksley Workman

Hawksley Workman released his 16th Median Age Wasteland. The full-length was produced by The Dears Murray Lightburn. Recently Workman released the album track “1983.” The song is touching and a bit sentimental, and even make haters of the 80s, smile.

From Hawksley Workman

“This album is beautifully sentimental. I have a unique perspective on the world that comes from the person I think I am and the person I actually am, and I wanted to explore the latter. There’s a lot of looking back at being a kid and more innocent times.

I’ve always had this constant hunger to innovate, reevaluate what I do, and keep remaking it to confuse myself and maybe confuse my audience.” “This time, I’m just committing to writing focused and honest songs, which feels like the most interesting thing I can do right now.”
