Zammuto Releases Free Live EP

Zammuto, the new quartet featuring the Books’ mastermind Nick Zammuto, have released a new live EP in advance of their massive first-ever headlining tour. The EP, recorded live in Athens, Georgia, features songs from the group’s acclaimed debut album released earlier this year, as well as the much-beloved Books classic, “Classy Penguin,” and the previously unreleased “Battle Hymn of the Republic (aka The Greatest Autoharp Solo of All Time)”, which has quickly become the definitive fan-favorite of Zammuto’s live set.

Zammuto’s enormous North American tour currently clocks at nearly 40 dates and spans from September to November, including a number of dates with Australian singer Gotye. The quartet’s fluid interpretations of songs from their self-titled debut album and full integration of video projection into the visual and musical performances have been stunning audiences on their ongoing stint with labelmates Explosions in the Sky.
