Young and Sick reveal Debut LP On Harvest
Today, Young & Sick announces the release date of his album on Harvest Records. The record pulls from the recesses of pop music, soul, and jazz, distinctly characterized by his own beautiful vocal harmonies. “Glass” is a pop song poised on the edge of an evening, residing in blurred colors that beg to be pulled toward light or dark.
Even from his earliest days of writing and producing in his native Netherlands, Nick has always made unapologetically catchy, heart-on-sleeve music. What came later, surprisingly, was the realization that he was an adept visual artist too. The first piece he commissioned was for an acquaintance named Mark Foster.
After trickling out singles anonymously for the past two years, this spring Young & Sick finally presents a fully realized project, a cohesive collection of sincere ballads and uptempo tunes as crisp as the changing seasons. Young & Sick’s self-titled album comes out April 8th on Harvest.
