“Wild Alive”by Moondude
South London newcomers Moondude take the most resonant elements from the mop swaying shoe-gazers of the early 90s and combine it with modern melodic dream pop nuances to craft something familiar yet fresh.
Making music together from childhood, ‘Wild Alive’ is the five piece’s second single, following their delicate debut ‘Displaced’, which dropped last month.
Speaking about the track, the band said: “This song comes out of the pubs on Thursday/Friday/Saturday. Packed full of pent up 20 odd year olds, the weekend routine of memory obliteration, drugs, alcohol and gym, and then the takeaway recovery on Sunday. The obdurate army on the escalator of time.”
‘Wild Alive’ also features a stunning animated video, directed by Jenny Wright.
