Welsh band Kidsmoke, will release their debut full-length A Vision In The Dark, via Libertino Records. on June 19th. Ahead off the album’s release, Kidsmoke have shared their latest single “Layla’s Love,” the track Follows their previous single “The Bluest You.” Both are out via Libertino Records, and available to stream.

Layla’s Love is a retrospective story of a relationship, where one partner begins to dwell upon the many ‘what ifs?’ we all face. Ultimately, the main character comes to terms with the fact that they’re now a better person because of the relationship and that’s something they’ll never lose. Lead vocalist and guitarist Lance tells us: “I’m a big fan of Prefab Sprout and love the way they utilise the male/female vocals; a dream-like section, when the main
character is having an imaginary conversation with ‘Layla’ is my favourite moment on the album.”

Discussing the creative process behind the new track, guitarist and vocalist Sophie went on to say: “Layla’s Love took a little longer to come together than some of our other tracks. We were being pretty ambitious with the arrangement in the studio and wanted to make sure we got it perfect, as we knew it would be worth it if we nailed
it.”
