Having always held a mutual admiration from afar, it was inevitable that when Warpaint and Daughter eventually met at Australia’s Laneway Festival where both acts were performing, a friendship between both bands blossomed, naturally leading to ideas of future collaborations.

With distance (Warpaint in Los Angeles, Daughter in Scotland) and touring commitments being a factor, they decided to rework each other’s favorite tracks.

Warpaint chose to remix Daughter’s If You Leave album track “Winter”, available today, and Daughter chose to remix Warpaint’s “Feeling Alright”, which was made available last week.
