Between the close of their recent European tour and the launch of their imminent US tour dates in June, Unknown Mortal Orchestra are back today to share the video for II opener “From the Sun.” Directed by Rick Alverson (of ‘The Comedy’ fame), the video embraces a darker, more deadpan tone than the band’s earlier videos and usual brand of irreverent humour. Unknown Mortal Orchestra will soldier on (much like the protagonist in their new video), touring for the rest of 2013, including two more US jaunts and their newly announced European dates in November.
