The Twilight Sad coming back to Italy
Scottish band “The Twilight Sad” is coming back to Italy for two unique shows: Tuesday, April 7 at Locomotiv Bologna and Wednesday, April 8 at Biko Milan.
The band is currently on tour to promote her latest album, “Nobody Wants To Be Here And Nobody Wants To Leave”, released on October 27 for Fat Cat Records.
The history of The Twlight Sad starts at school when James Graham, Andy MacFarlane and Mark Devine formed a cover band.
A few years later, the three met the bassist Craig Orzel and begin to perform live around Scotland. In 2003 the band attracted the attention of Alex Knight (co-founder of Fat Cat Records) that immediately signed them with a professional contract.
“Fourteen Autumns & Fifteen Winters” (Fat Cat Records) was released in 2007 and it was extremely successful over criticism. The appreciation to the band will grow with the second album “Forget The Night Ahead” (Fat Cat Records, 2009), which is a first step towards the usual darker sound of Twilight Sad.
The next “No One Can Ever Know” (Fat Cat Records, 2012), recorded after the departure of Craig Orzel, marks another turning point characterized by industrial and krautrock influences.
In addition to the recent “Nobody Wants To Be Here And Nobody Wants To Leave” (Fat Cat Records), the band has published a self-produced EP limited edition, “Oran Mor Session”, available exclusively at their live shows.
The Twilight Sad are James Alexander Graham, Andy MacFarlane and Mark Devine.
Tonight, after a long time, they are playing in Milan (Italy), for an exclusive show that can’t be missed.
