Due for release on May 6, 2014, the playful Nikki Nack follows 2011’s W H O K I L L. tUnE-yArDs toured the world relentlessly and performed on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live and ACL TV.

After affording herself a much needed break (she wrote an article for The Talkhouse on spending time in Haiti here), Merrill Garbus is back. In addition to confirming some new tour dates (listed below), she’s also given her fans their first taste of new music with a ‘Megamix’ of the upcoming album; “I’ve put together a mash-up of a lot of the songs from the album, so you can get a tiny taste. We really can’t wait to play this music for you. Thanks for all your support and patience while we cooked this chicken!,” she said when posting it online earlier this morning.
