“Time Wanderer” by Sahara Grim

Singer/songwriter Sahara Grim has released a new video for her latest single “Time Wanderer.” The artist creates music that is influenced by her ethnic roots in India and Japan, and enriched by an eclectic musical background spanning Bossa Nova, Jazz, and Indian Classical. Described as “mystical and groovy”, often likened to the stylings of Lana Del Rey or Kate Bush, if either played a sitar. Her distinct sound has gathered enthusiasm from local collaborators like Lionmilk and secured her bills with The Marías, Charlotte Day Wilson, and Léa Sen among others. Today’s release previews Sahara Grim’s debut album Fable was produced by Luke Temple (Big Thief, Allegra Krieger, Art Feynman) to be released in 2025.

from Sahara Grim:

“Time Wanderer is a playful exploration that speaks to overcoming past difficulties and giving into joy, trusting the timing of all that is unfolding when we move at our own pace. The video is a marriage between the hypnotic, layered elements prevalent in both the sonic and visual worlds. With a series of long takes, the camera follows my movement through a sequence of otherworldly nature locations, blurring the line between fantasy and reality. The experimental analog film techniques used are meant to ignite a sense of simplicity, surrealism, nature, and unparalleled magic.”

Sahara Grim will play a record release show for Fable on December 6th at Gold Digger’s in Los Angeles. Order tickets HERE
