The Shilohs Announce 7-inch

Light Organ Records / New Images are releasing an upcoming 7-inch single from Vancouver, BC-based The Shilohs, October 9, 2012. The A-side “Private Lives” is a piano-led tune with hip-swaying vibes recalling a past era of cocktail lounge rock n roll and shag carpet. The a-side comes in at a 5-and-a-half minutes and has already been gaining praise.

Fusing ambitious inspiration from canonical acts like the Beatles, and the Byrds, with exotic strains like Big Star, Van Dyke Parks, and Dillard and Clark, The Shilohs revel in the pleasures of the record shelf.
