The Last Dinner Party debut live videos for "Nothing Matter" and "My Lady of Mercy"

The Last Dinner Party have been announced as part of Vevo’s 2024 DSCVR Artists To Watch List this week. Today, Vevo is releasing two live performance videos of their songs “Nothing Matters” and “My Lady of Mercy“.

The Last Dinner Party are inspired by the romantic, grotesque and gothic and determined to be a crack in the sky – a joyful light in the darkness. After meeting at their university freshers week, the band members bonded over pizza, mid-mapped and moodboarded, and finally decided their direction: “we wanted to be a band that we would have aspired to be when we were teenagers.” That band sounds like lucious world-building pop songs that are as big as the universe and encompass the universality of human emotion. “Artists that come on stage reserved and looking too cool for school put on a lot more of an act than we do- we’d be exhausted if we had to do that! We want our audience to feel euphoric in every sense of the word. Euphoric through joy, or euphoric through the exorcism of pain or the absence of anger or grief; a personal experience of catharsis”.
