Daffo AKA: Gabi Gamberg, has announced a run of live dates supporting Sir Chloe in 2024 throughout North America, dates include, Music Hall of Williamsburg in New York City and The Troubadour in Los Angeles. Along with the news, Daffo has shared a new video for “The Experiment” off of their Pest EP. Daffo’s music is a combination of bedroom folk, grungy guitar rock, and Americana.

In Gamberg’s words, “‘The Experiment’ is one of those freak songs that you just barf out. I sort of wrote it in my sleep, I had the melody and first verse in my head when I woke up, and then I picked up a guitar and the rest came out in one go. At first I didn’t want to release the song, but I grew to love the nonsensical nature of it and appreciate its deeper meaning.”

The music video is a whimsical animated companion to the track’s buoyant melody and meandering rumination on identity. Gamberg explains, “The song is about duality and oneness. Life is both ridiculous and full of deep meaning. When you let go and surrender to life, you can feel your connection to everything.”

Grown from the green, buggy, grass in the Philadelphia suburbs and raised by the New Jersey and Philadelphia DIY scenes, Gamberg has been gigging from the moment they picked up a guitar. Stifled by a traditional high school experience, they ventured west to receive a formal education in songwriting from the performing arts school Idyllwild Arts Academy. Shortly after, they relocated to New York and cut their teeth at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music.

“Pest is a confession of my innermost shame, a collection of songs about self-loathing and growing pains,” Gamberg explains. “It expresses my thought process as I have moved through the world in the past two years, learning to become comfortable with myself. It is my frustration, my hopelessness, my love, and my lack of love in its truest form.”
