The Dodos Announce Tour With Neko Case

The Dodos Announce North American spring Tour With Neko Case. Their album "Carrier" is out on Dine Alone/Polyvinyl Records. The Dodos play 4/12 in Tucson.

The Dodos have announced a spring tour of North America supporting Neko Case that includes six dates in Canada in May. The San Francisco duo released their fifth full-length album, Carrier, in August on Dine Alone Records. Neko Case contributed vocals on The Dodos 2011’s full-length No Color.

Carrier was recorded in the band’s hometown of San Francisco, allowing for less time constraints and a more pressure-free experience than past out-of-state sessions had afforded. Although John Vanderslice’s Tiny Telephone studio was initially selected for its analog-friendly setup, the duo were happy to find themselves working within a supportive community of like-minded musicians that included engineers Jay and Ian Pellicci, both of whom assisted in the production of Carrier, as well as the Magik Magik Orchestra, which appears on several tracks.
