The Teen Age Premiere New EP “Ways To Adapt” Ahead Of June 3rd Release
The Teen Age premiered their upcoming debut EP, Ways To Adapt, a week prior to its release on June 3rd via PaperCup Music. The EP features four new tracks and “Matador” can be heard above.
Formed in a Brooklyn basement in late 2012, The Teen Age plays a mix of ’70s inspired punk and garage rock. The group made their live debut in January of last year, supporting Palma Violets. Their debut single, “Ventura“, was recorded at the Converse Rubber Tracks Studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and released via PaperCup Music. Speaking of the new content, singer/guitarist Digo said, “All the songs on the EP grew out of a certain emptiness I had after a bad breakup, and how I tried to cope and adapt through different vices.” Ways To Adapt was recorded at Madpan Studios in New York with Producer Uri Djemal.
The Teen Age took to the road in March hitting the Savannah Stopover Festival and the SXSW Music Conference. They have a few upcoming New York City shows including a June 4, EP release celebration at Pianos, and will be taking part in this year’s Northside Festival, including the PaperCup Music showcase on June 14 at The Grand Victory.
