Ahead of their forthcoming North American tour, Slowdive have shared their new video for the Slowdive cut “Don’t Know Why.” Directed by Grant Singer (The Weeknd, Lorde, Ariana Grande) and starring Autumn Shelly, Duke Nicholson, and Daciana the Dog, the video is presented in three parts.

Grant Singer on “Don’t Know Why”:

“This video is less about logic and more about a feeling. It’s a triptych about memory, about being lost and abandoned,” says Singer. “Slowdive has been my favorite band since I was a kid. To say that making this video was surreal would be an understatement. Their music has been this gift—this friend that stays with me always and gets better over time. Hearing their new album left me speechless. So having the opportunity to make something for them is an honor that I don’t take for granted.” The track is off Slowdive’s self-titled album, which was released this past spring on Dead Oceans.

The band will tour North America extensively this fall in support of Slowdive, playing many of these cities for the first time since the album’s release. A full list of dates is below.
