Sister Ray the project of Ella Coyes released her debut album Communion in 2022 and follow up EP, Teeth. The album was long-listed for the 2022 Polaris Prize, which led to appearances at the Pitchfork Festival in Paris & London, Primavera, and more.

Recently Sister Ray completed a North American tour supporting Sunset Rubdown. recently, the artist shared their first new music since 2023, with the single “Animal Thing,” the track was produced by Jon Nellen (Big Thief).
