With just a month until Sinkane’s release of Mean Love, the artist has released a remix of new single “How We Be” courtesy of Swiss DJ Lexx, who brings a tropical, dubby vibe to the original track.

With an aim to “create truly universal music,” Sinkane has expanded on his experiences and background to create a multifaceted, eclectic and purely modern record with intensely poetic lyrics. He notes that Sudanese music itself is a hodgepodge of influences, and “it’s very dramatic, very romantic, and very groovy at the same time.” Listeners will surely find Mean Love to be the same.
