Kingo Halla’s Reflections will be released on February 23, 2024.

From Henry Nozuka:

“I produced this song with a collaborator and friend of mine David Steinmetz (Faouzia, Anna Sofia). We recorded the drums in Toronto, and produced/mixed the rest of the song out of my studio “Shijō Studios”, now based out of Owen Sound (2.5 hours outside of Toronto). Said So is a song that is in a way me processing the deep turmoil of the world right now. It is set in a moment of time where the waters of the world flood the streets, and the panic of people is existing all around. My pride is lost and I’m left with nothing but the clothes of my soul. The stronger the arrows are thrown, the stronger I hold on to what is sacred and divine. It’s a song that reminds me of the delicate nature of life, and of the impermanence that this existence is. In that moment of humility and loss, there is somewhat of a cry of the soul, and that’s kinda what this song is about. Featuring on this song is Felix Fox (BadbadnotGood), on the piano and synth solo, and David Steinmetz on drums.”
