Model/Actriz Perform Two New Songs at ‘Chrismukkah’ Show at TV Eye on December 4th in Brooklyn, NY

Do you pray at the church of Model/Actriz? Do you worship at the altar of sexual energy and debauchery? Do you even know cool music? The cult following for Cole Haden’s demonicly charismatic shows have only grown in the past few years as word has spread of their [un]holy performances.

So what better time to celebrate this band’s ascent than on ‘Chrismukkah’ at TV Eye. On the first yuletide night, they opened with “Donkey Show” followed by brand new
songs “Crop” and later “Red Fish” — these may not be the end titles but expect a new album within the coming year or so.

The new songs were driven by the same magic that has entranced concertgoers:

heavy-hitting industrial beats that pound into your skull. Captivated audience members like Brian, who followed the band originally from a festival in Detroit, says that if the new album is anything like what he’s heard, he’s ready to dive headfirst into the new music. Much like he did with his relentless listening of last year’s “Dogsbody”.

The band’s popularity is no surprise. Watching Haden on stage is like watching Macbeth prowl in lacy stockings dressed in the most Shakespearean outfit with a chalice of blood in one hand. Imagine one of those dreamscape scenes where anything can happen.

Ivy from Bushwick describes the band as “Freddie Mercury on ketamine vibes.” And it’ hard to debate that. Every viewer takes from a Model/Actriz experience like a raw
fantasy that’s hard to comprehend at first but it’s easy to become addicted.

The band, as always, kept it tight – completely in sync with Haden’s forays into the crowd to amp up the party or while he was drop kicking the air. No one does it like this band.
