Canadian duo Megan James and Corin Roddick, the brains behind Purity Ring, will return with a second album, entitled Another Eternity’ on March 3rd via 4AD. In honour of the album announcement, Purity Ring have shared the new single “begin again.”

Their 2012 debut Shrines was a nucleus of crystalline pop and its reception was a prescient suggestion of how music might evolve. What Purity Ring once described as “future pop” is now firmly and confidently present in ‘Another Eternity.’

Whereas Shrines was composed remotely (Megan lived in Halifax while Corin was 500 miles away in Montreal), Another Eternity marks the first time Megan and Corin were able to create a record in the same room, the album taking shape in their birthplace of Edmonton as well as Brooklyn, rural Texas and Los Angeles – where the duo now call home. As with Shrines, Megan and Corin recorded and produced their follow-up themselves, with mixing provided by engineer Jaycen Joshua (Future, Little Dragon, Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus).
