The twentieth anniversary of Primavera Sound could only begin with one of the most beautiful first weekend of its history. The return of the festival to the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona (ES) after three years will be remembered for the impressive performances by Tame Impala, Charli XCX, Pavement, Rodrigo Cuevas, Kacey Musgraves, Fred again… and The Armed on the first day. The National, Little Simz, Caribou and Low, resounding triumphs at Primavera Sound with other exceptional shows during the second day of the festival. Finally, the last day of the first weekend was one of the most heterodox in the history of the Primavera Sound festival, with performances by Gorillaz, Tyler, the Creator, Dreamcatcher, Mavis Staples and Black Country New Road, Bauhaus and Beach House.
