Powerplant, is the project of Ukraine-born, London-based Theo Zhykharyev, their new album, Bridge of Sacrifice is now available via Arcane Dynamics. Today, Powerplant announces a new run of North American tour dates, including performances at Levitation Festival, Gonerfest, and U Fest.

Zhykharyev’s live band features members of Island of Love, Hitmen and Arms Race. The band have also appeared at End of The Road, Outbreak, and Fluff Fest, as well tours with OSees, Show Me The Body and Ovlov and more.

Along with the tour announcement, the band have released a new video for Bridge of Sacrifice track “Florida.” “Florida” is about a vampire that gets sick of the cold lonely castle and contemplates moving to Florida.

On the video, Zhykharyev says “We are very lucky to be joined by the punk Boglin in the video. There we are – floating alone in the white abyss of the infinity of thought, playing the song endlessly, whilst forever chased and watched by the green creature itself. Or perhaps we are one with the green fiend and the evil voice is our own. The song goes all over the place musically and thematically, ending with a very emo confession, delivered by the Boglin itself, perhaps in a moment of reflective thought.”
