Painted Zeros, the three-piece rock band, recently premiered their new song “Jaime” and announced the release of their upcoming EP Svalbard, which is set to be released on July 15th via Black Bell Records. Listen to “The American Life” above.

Songwriter Katie writes songs for the band and records everything in her bedroom/practice space/wherever she can, and mixes it in on her laptop. Jared and Nolan are also in Painted Zeros, where the former plays drums live and the latter plays bass They all reside in Brooklyn and have long, detailed dreams that they enjoy talking about. They like playing loud music and also like playing quiet music sometimes. Enthusiastic forays into experimental instrumental whatever and soundbyte incorporation.
