Comet has announced her new album Autopsy of Me, will arrive October 23rd, via DSPs. Ahead of the LP’s arrival, the artist has shared the single “Offering.” The video for the track follows her wandering in a hospital gown, and was directed by Jo Barajas. “Offering” follows in the footsteps of Comet’s previous work, giving the listener a hushed rock tone, produced by Grant Lepping and Tristan “Comet” Candler. In the words of Comet: “The song is about when devotion starts feeling like captivity, and the mourning of futures that will never exist.” “Offering” follows Comet’s previous singles “Homunculus” and “Limp,” and a run of dates supporting Vancouver artist Sophia Stel.

Comet debuted her 2021 with “Beauty Marks” and “Disappearing Act,” followed up by shows with Jazmin Bean and urika’s bedroom at Perfectly Imperfect and You Missed It’s February show, which also featured DJ sets from Chanel Beads and Quiet Light.
