Role Model has shared an acoustic version of his current single “notice me.” The track is off his EP, oh, how perfect. The clip sees the artist perform an intimate version of the track in an empty school auditorium, accompanied solely by a guitar.

The acoustic version of “notice me” also arrives ahead of ROLE MODEL’s North American tour in support of LAUV. Beginning July 17th in Charlotte, he’ll play 16 shows across the country including stops in Atlanta, Philadelphia, and New York, before concluding the run August 9th in Raleigh. The tour follows his headlining North American run last year which included sold-out performances in Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington D.C., and more.

oh, how perfect is the culmination of the past two year’s of Tucker Pillsbury’s life, a coming-of-age project chronicling the full spectrum of emotions he’s endured thus far, brought to life by lush melodies and heartfelt lyricism. Throughout six tracks, ROLE MODEL lets the listener in – opener “gucci chair” recounts the dangers of complacency, “notice me” finds the singer falling back in love, and “thank you for coming” is an ode to his fans who’ve let him live out his dreams – baring all his struggles while simultaneously letting them know there’s light at the end of the darkness. As heart-wrenching as it it is hopeful, the EP serves as a reminder that the only role model needed is oneself.
