Double Six is to release the second single from The Child of Lov, entitled Give Me on the 25th February 2013. This is the second track to be aired from the forthcoming debut album, which features contributions from DOOM, Thundercat and Damon Albarn. As with the video for his debut single, Heal, the accompanying video was filmed in the rural south of Georgia, USA by the much loved LA-based duo Focus Creeps (who have previously directed videos for Arctic Monkeys and Girls).

Give Me captures the muggy grooves of the rural south while casting a nostalgic nod to the ideas and inventions of southern trailblazers like Little Richard, Otis Redding and James Brown. As with his first single, The Child of Lov has drawn from a spectral cast of such R&B musicians to lay down an obsessionally tight groove, leaving him to sing his way towards one of the most undeniably catchy choruses you’ll hear this year.
