Michael Kiwanuka shares “Rebel Soul,” the final single ahead of the release of his new album new album Small Changes, available November 22nd via Geffen Records. “Rebel Soul.”

Driving the conversations between producer Brian Burton (Danger Mouse) and Michael about the direction of Small Changes was the desire to make an album that transcends any notion of what is or isn’t deemed “cool.” Kiwanuka recalls, “We were trying to shoot for something that might have made it onto a Bill Withers album or a Sadé album.”

The LP arrives after his co-headline tour across the US with Brittany Howard and announcing an already nearly sold out UK/European tour for next Spring, Michael has revealed details of an intimate, stripped-back live run in support of UK record stores next month. The six dates will offer fans a chance to hear the new music in much closer confines ahead of the full electric tour next year. The new dates call at Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds, Nottingham, Kingston Upon Thames, concluding in Southampton. Tickets for these dates go on sale October 25th.
