After sifting through submissions from all over the globe, The Men, Scared Bones, and Consequence of Sound are excited to announce the winner of their fan video contest. Rather than bringing an established music video director on board to direct The Men’s video for “Different Days,” the band and their label put out an open call to The Men’s fans to bring their visions for a “Different Days” video to life, with a treasure trove of rare prizes and bragging rights at stake. The result was an inspiring array of music videos from all over the world, each taking the source material in a unique direction. And today they’re pleased to present German director Helge Mundt’s take as the official music video for The Men’s “Different Days.” . Second place honors go to Heather Sanders’ neon take on the band’s song, and third place goes to Joseph Grahame and Nicole Paciello’s hazy interpretation of the band’s song.

The Men are also set to kick off their North American tour this week. Hitting Los Angeles, Austin, San Francisco, and more, the band is touring in support of their latest full-length, Tomorrow’s Hits, out now on Sacred Bones. This is their first album recorded in a high-end studio and, appropriately, the result is their highest fidelity album to date. That being said, it is still an incredibly straightforward and concise record that nonetheless is full of genre-bending risks.
