“Mass Grave” Health FT: Soccer Mommy
HEALTH’s new single “MASS GRAVE” — a collaboration with Soccer Mommy on vocals and produced by Corin Roddick (Purity Ring) — is out today. Stream the song at all DSPs (linked below) and via YouTube HERE. “MASS GRAVE” is the band’s first original music since last year’s collaboration with NOLIFE, “Hard To Be A God,” and their acclaimed 2015 album, Death Magic.
“The annals of music history are filled with a rich tradition of trios. Crosby, Stills, & Nash… Emerson, Lake, and Palmer… Lennon, McCartney, and that other guy… And now Soccer Mommy, the guy from Purity Ring, and HEALTH.
We give you ‘MASS GRAVE.’” – HEALTH
“I really enjoyed getting to work with the guys from HEALTH on this song. It’s one of the first features I’ve ever done and I love the finished product. It has a kind of apathetic sadness to it that I was really drawn to.” – Soccer Mommy
The LA-based band of Jacob Duzsik, John Famiglietti, and Benjamin Miller will perform at Chicago’s Riot Fest this weekend on September 15th, and are also confirmed for LA’s Cloak & Dagger Festival on November 10th.
HEALTH’s Death Magic was released in 2016, followed by two sold-out U.S. tours followed, including festival performances at Coachella, LEVITATION, Primavera Sound, and NRML (where Pitchfork.TV filmed “L.A. Looks”). Last year, the band’s cover of “Blue Monday” was featured on the Atomic Blonde soundtrack.
Soccer Mommy is currently on tour in support of her debut album Clean. Check out her upcoming headline dates as well as shows with Kacey Musgrave
