Major Lazer “Get Free” Released July 23rd via Mad Decent

Following their whirlwind sold-out UK tour in April, Major Lazer announce their first new single since their 2009 debut album, ‘Guns Don’t Kill People… Lazers Do’. Featuring vocals from Amber Coffman of Dirty Projectors, ‘Get Free’ is a smoother, more downbeat jam than anything we’ve witnessed from the duo before, but retains the summery, dub-indebted vibe that has become Major Lazer’s calling card. Further heat comes courtesy of remixes from Brazilian baile funk outfit Bonde do Role, as well as drum’n’bass legend Andy C.

With a second album expected later this year, Major Lazer will be bringing their energetic live show to a host of European festivals this Summer, while plans are afoot to repeat their now legendary Notting Hill carnival party for the fifth year running.
