Local Natives share new videos
Local Natives’ new full-length, Violet Street, will drop on April 26th via Loma Vista Recordings. Along with the news, the band have released two videos; for Café Amarillo, paired with a video directed by Van Alpert (Post Malone), featuring visuals by Public-Library (Drake, Mac Miller, Nike).
Following Café Amarillo, Local Natives have also revealed a second track: “When Am I Gonna Lose You.” Actress and style icon, Kate Mara, gives a gripping, melancholic performance in the video that evokes classic LA films such as David Lynch’s, Mulholland Drive, and Mike Nichols’, The Graduate. The video was shot in and around the Hollywood Hills in February 2019, once again directed by Van Alpert (Post Malone), and features visuals by Public-Library (Drake, Mac Miller, Nike).
On May 15, Local Natives will embark on The Spiral Choir Tour, kicking off in Vancouver on May 15, with stops in Toronto and Montreal. This marks the band’s first tour since 2017. Local Natives will partner with Plus1 to donate $1 from select tickets to support gender-based violence intervention and prevention programs.
