glaive releases his new single, “Live & Direct”, featuring fellow indie pop artist kurtains. The single is off his forthcoming second album May It Never Falter, available October 11th.

‘Live & Direct’ is a departure from glaive’s pop roots, leaning into a bass and guitar-driven sound that echoes the raw energy of classic rock. The single opens with a nostalgic riff, before transitioning into glaive’s pensive penmanship, soft verses, and acoustic oddities, a signature engraving to his songwriting.

Discussing the release, glaive says “‘Live & Direct’ was made with Kurtains who I’ve known since I was 14. After making much of the album in Iceland, I went to Wales where he lives and we made this song together. It is truly a banger.”

The new single follows a number projects from glaive in 2024, including the singles “just not sure” and “tijuana freestyle”, as well as his celebrated a bit of a mad one EP in February. His forthcoming album is due to land off the back of his debut i care so much i don’t care at all (2023).
