UK band Lip Filler, have released their first new music of 2025, with single/video “Leeches,” the track is the follow-up to recently released “Tricky,” both songs were produced by St Francis Hotel (Little Simz, Michael Kiwanuka) – and set to appear on a new project due for release later this year. “Leeches” arrives ahead of a show at the Shacklewell Arms in London tomorrow (17th January) – curated by The Murder Capital.

Seething indie-rock jostling with nervous energy, fiery frontman George Tucker’s impassioned vocal lines and potent rap bars move from resentment “I can’t even wait / I’m sick of spinning plates” to desperation “I can’t take these leeches”, backed by scorched guitar lines and an energetic rhythm section.

Discussing the song’s lyrical inspiration, Tucker added:

“Leeches is about someone who’s lost control of the wheel. Letting their bad habits and insecurities get the better of them until they can no longer trust anyone, damaging the relationships of everyone they hold dearest.”

“Leeches” is out now. Lip Filler play Shacklewell Arms in London on 17th January, curated by The Murder Capital. Lip Filler are currently completing work on a new project, due for release later this year.
