Kitten Release New Song Off Of Upcoming Debut Album
The self-titled debut from Kitten will be released on June 24th via Elektra Records. The new track “Why I Wait” was premiered via NYLON and it can be heard above.
Formed in 2009 in Los Angeles, California, Kitten is an indie rock band which currently comprises of Chloe Chaidez solely. Having previously released two EPs, Cut It Out and Like A Stranger, Kitten will be the first full-length released by the band. Chaidez has been involved in the music industry from a very early age, opening for Band of Horses and Conor Oberst at the age of twelve. She is also the only consistent member of Kitten, the band which has seen major lineup changes since it’s formation.
In the past, Kitten has opened for bands like Young the Giant and Paramore and this year, former members Bryan Deleon, Zach Bilson, and Waylon Rector are rejoining Kitten for it’s tour with The Neighbourhood in the spring.
