JPEGMAFIA and Danny Brown have announced their collaborative album, Scare The Hoes. Rap’s most forward thinking artists have released records which have helped shape the sounds of Modern Hip Hop. This collaboration, due for release on March 24th 2023, proves to be a meeting of minds that are unbound by any restrictions and expectations placed upon them, with today’s first taste of the project, “LEAN BEEF PATTY.”

A frantic explosion of warpspeed samples and blown out percussion, ‘LEAN BEEF PATTY’ is the sound of JPEGMAFIA and Danny Brown’s mosaic of influences not just overflowing, but spontaneously combusting. Produced by JPEGMAFIA, the sped up samples that open the track are a warm welcome in comparison to the chaos that unfolds as the track unwinds. With JPEGMAFIA’s now lyricism that touches on culture at large, social commentary and his own internal perspectives, often within a single verse, and Danny Brown’s freeform flow and trademark yelp, ‘LEAN BEEF PATTY’ is rap as you’ve never heard it before; postmodern, powerful and totally arresting.
